This Is Identified ,Hrit Shoola, In Ayurveda. Hrit Means And Shoola Means Pain. Angina Pectoris Is Chest Pain Or Weightiness That Occurs When We Cannot Keep Up The Oxygen Supply To The Heart Muscle By Means Of Demand. Most Commonly, The Inadequate Supply Of Oxygen Takes Place Due To Narrowing Of The Coronary Arteries By Arterioscleroses. When Coronary Arteries Are Narrowed By More Than 50 Percent To 70 Percent, The Arteries Cannot Increase The Supply Of Blood To The Heart Muscle During Exertion Or Other Periods Of High Oxygen Demand. An Insufficient Supply Of Oxygen To The Heart Muscle Causes Chest Pain, Which Is A Layperson. Term For Angina.
PRECIPITATING FACTORS: - --- Emotional Disturbances (cause Of Vata Aggravation) --- Starvation Or Prolonged Malnutrition (cause Of Vata Aggravation) --- Excessive Or Lack Of Physical Exertion (HEEN Or ATIYOG Of VYAYAMA) --- Vata Aggravation In Whichever Means. --- Incorrect Food Consumption (AAM DOSHA) SYMPTOMS: - HRICHHANYABHAV, DRAVSHOSH, BHEDASTAMBHAH SAMOHAH PAVANADVI VISHASHAH. (Charak, Sutra26). This Sholoka Means That Palpitations, Irregular Heartbeats, Congestion Or Ischemia Are Associated Features Of Vatic Disorders Of Heart. AAIBHYATE- MARUTATAJE- HRIDROGAM- TUDYATE TATHA, NIRMATHYATE- DEERYATE- CHA- SFOTYATE. (Sushrut Utter Tantra 43)
Sushrut Suggests In This Shloka That The Patient Some Time Feels A Heave With Tightness Or Some Time A Pain As If Some One Piercing In, Cutting Or Churning The Heart.
MANAGEMENT IN AYURVEDA: - First And The Foremost, The Following: 1) Rectification In The Ahaar (food And Diet) 2) Modification In The Vihaar (activities), And 3) Take Up Of Aushadhi (Ayurvedic Medicine) AHAAR: The Purpose To Precise The Diet Is: To Maintain The Accurate Body Weight And Reduce The Risk Factors. Therefore Fat Free Or Low Fat Diet To 25-30 Percent Slash Of Total Calories Is Recommended. The Saturated Fats And Carbohydrate Rich Diets Can Increase The Risk So Should Be Reduced To Minimum. Some General Recommendations Include Being On Low Salt Diet, And Cutting Down On Coffee And Tea. It Will Be Better To Stay Away From The Alcohol, If It Is Obligatory, Do Not Drink It More Than Sixty Ml In A Day And Drink It Regular. Tobacco In Any Form Always Increases The Risk Factor Therefore Just Stop That. The Tobacco Is Supposed To Be Vata Irritant And Vata Is Standing Firmly Behind.
VIHAAR: This Is Related To The Physical Activities Of The Subject. In Most Cases Of Stable Angina Absolute Bed Rest Is Not Necessary. But Frequent Attacks Of Angina May Warrant Immediate Medical Intervention.
EXERCISE: - A Patient, Who Has Good Exertion Tolerance, And Has Stable Angina, Should Be Encouraged To Do Mild Exercise. Walking On Plane Surface Is The Exercise Of Choice. The Duration And Speed Should Increase Gradually. The Patients Are Advised Not To Indulge In Competitive Exercising. The Walk Of Few Minutes, If It Can Be Endurable To The Patient Can Help Full To Restore The Health. YOGA
Meditation And Shavasana Help Restore The Tranquility, Peace And Manage Stress At The Same Time. The Pranayam; Mainly ANULOM-VILOM Type Of Pranayam Should Be Practiced. The Pranayam Supplies An Ample Quantity Of Prana-vayu, Which Can Correct The Heart Problems Including Angina And Even Worse Myocardial Infarction Or Coronary Artery&8217;s Blockages. PANCH-KARMA Though The Panchkarma Is Contraindicated In The Hridaya (Cardiological Problems) But Some Specific Works Can Be Used Like Hridaya Tarpan. Make A Circular Two Inches High Wall Type Structure Over The Chest In The Cardiac Region. Now Fill It Rasnadisaptak Kwath 50% +Mahamash Tail. The Mixture Must Be Lukewarm And Let Remain It In The Structure Over The Chest, Up To At Least Fifteen To Thirteen Minutes. The Abhyang Or Massage And Shirodhara Can Be Helpful.
GARLIC TIPS TIP- 1: Take 2 To 5 Cloves Of Garlic; Crush Them, And Take With Honey Or Water On Empty Stomach. TIP- 2: 1) Take 5-7 Mashed Cloves Of Garlic. 2) Now Take 100 Ml Milk And 200 Ml Water. 3) Mix All Three. 4) Now Boil The Combination Till It Reduces To 200 Ml Mixture. 5) Add 1 Teaspoonful Honey. 6) And Take It Regularly Twice A Day, Preferably Morning And Evening At Empty Stomach.
Please Note That Use Of Garlic In Any Form Is Contraindicated In Gastritis. A Few Weeks Long Application Will Show The Impact. But This Is Not Only Enough.
